Porn is fine, it was the fact that your post is basically just a link to a different imageboard, which is pretty much just advertising which is against the rules.
Also I don't see how a general thread could be created from the basis of "You have friends here :)", which is why that doesn't seem like a fit for /fg/ - Furry Generals.
/b/ is a perfectly fine place for one-off threads that are still on-topic for furry stuff though.
